The way from Tampere is approximately the same as from Lahti also 90 km. Driving on highway 12 in Kangasala you should take road 325 to Kuhmoinen (via Sahalahti and Kuhmalahti). 4 km before arriving Kuhmoinen centre you should turn to the left when the road ends and then drive on along highway 24.

After passing the centre of Kuhmoinen drive on about 4 km towards Jämsä. Then on the right side of a crossroad there is a traffic sign showing Ruolahti 9. Now it`s only about 9,5 km left getting there. On the right side of the road there is a red-wall macine hall and the wall hanging an information sig: Hirsitalot Ruolahti Mökkivuokrausta (Logchalets Ruolahti). From the gable of the machine hall you should drive to the farmyard and staight ahead is a main building where you will meet your hosts and get quidance to your holiday chalet.

When driving from north or west the easiest route goes via Jämsä on highway 24 to Kuhmoinen.
